Fortunately there is a work around employing firefox addons and mplayer. Thanks to Jaypbs3 for discovering this workaround. How-to: 1st in the terminal type the following; su your root password yum erase gnash-plugin yum install swfdec swfdec-mozilla yum install mplayer mplayerplug-in After the instillation has completed type; yum install gstreamer then download and install ffmpeg tinyurl.com Now open firefox and go to the following page and install the addon; tinyurl.com Then go to the following page and install the following script; tinyurl.com Finally restart firefox and go to youtube. Select a video then right click and chose the full screen option. You should now see the video. If you want the video to be embedded then right click again and un-select the full screen option. Hit F11 to put firefox in full screen mode. Enjoy! Having trouble see the following thread for more help; tinyurl.com
